CYG’s Grid-side Battery Energy Storage System solution primarily serves new energy power plants (wind/photovoltaic) with energy storage systems and independent/shared energy storage power stations. Its core objective is to use energy storage systems to smooth the output of renewable energy, reduce wind and solar curtailment, participate in grid ancillary services such as peak shaving and frequency regulation, thereby enhancing grid stability and renewable energy consumption capacity. The solution provides turnkey integration from hundreds of megawatts (MW) to gigawatts (GW), encompassing core equipment like the Energy Management System (EMS), Power Conversion System (PCS), and Energy Storage Coordination Controller. It supports rapid power control (primary frequency response <40ms) and features advanced capabilities such as black start and inertia support, facilitating participation in electricity market trading and generating economic benefits for power stations.
