Reliable communication with dispatch, centralized control, and other master station systems is achieved through the PRS-7910 Gateway. The PRS-7961 Series Industrial Ethernet Switches are employed to establish highly reliable station control layer and process layer networks. Time synchronization device ensures uniform plant-wide clocking, while the bay control unit (BCU) is responsible for local functions such as Telemetry, remote signaling, remote control and synchronized closing. Additionally, phasor measurement unit (PMU) provides real-time dynamic data for wide-area monitoring and stability control.
