Project Details
The project involved building the first mobile prefabricated substation for Sarawak Energy Berhad in Malaysia, with CYG SUNRI responsible for the full range of equipment supply, design, installation, construction, and commissioning services. As the company’s first mobile substation project, it overcame challenges related to compliance with multiple national standards and the coordination and integration of multiple suppliers (prefabricated cabins and switchgear were procured in China, while trailers were sourced locally in Malaysia). Through the professional design and efficient execution of the project team, the substation was successfully delivered to the client. It has operated for five years with no quality feedback or customer complaints, laying a solid foundation for subsequent mobile substation projects in the Southeast Asian regional market.
