Project Details

Focusing on power supply assurance requirements around Bangkok, Thailand, CYG SUNRI served as the general contractor for secondary equipment, supplying complete secondary protection, measurement and control devices, and background systems. The scope also included critical tasks such as equipment commissioning and system integration. Challenges during execution included the maiden overseas deployment of the SOC platform, incompatibility of existing specifications, and multi-vendor coordination. The team conducted in-depth research on differences in Thai operational habits, optimized design schemes, coordinated resources, and worked overtime to overcome difficulties. The efficient completion of the three 115kV smart substations and one 22kV conventional substation significantly enhanced the automation level and power supply reliability of the regional grid, fully demonstrating the company's technical strength in secondary equipment and system integration capabilities.
