Singapore Jurong Island JTC 118MWp Photovoltaic Project

As the largest ground-mounted photovoltaic project in terms of installed capacity, CYG SUNRI, as the contractor, supplied 6 sets of prefabricated secondary cabins, meteorological stations, and other auxiliary equipment for the photovoltaic station. Additionally, CYG SUNRI provided 1 remote centralized control center for the owner at another off-site facility (Tengeh). The project covers the full process of multi-system design, supply, construction, and commissioning, marking CYG SUNRI's first project in the Singapore market.

Scope of Services: 118MWp PV project, 6×22kV switchgear stations, plus Tengeh remote centralized control center

Project Nature: Secondary containerized substation monitoring system

Project Status: Singapore's largest ground-mounted PV project by installed capacity

As CYG SUNRI's first project in the high-end Singapore market, it also involved local construction management subcontracting, fully showcasing the company's technical strength and service quality in power construction. CYG SUNRI received commendation letters from the owner Sembcorp and the EPC contractor Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. This project also paved the way for subsequent photovoltaic O&M business and other similar projects in the local market.

To address the challenges of six photovoltaic areas commencing construction simultaneously, a tight grid-connection schedule, and heavy workload, the project adopted a complete prefabricated cabin solution for overseas delivery. CYG SUNRI supplied 6 sets of prefabricated secondary cabins, integrating its photovoltaic monitoring system, PPC system, protection and control devices, AC/DC systems, and a full set of meteorological monitoring systems. Furthermore, CYG SUNRI provided critical equipment including switchgear protection for the primary cabin, protection and control for box-type transformers, and energy metering devices.

Control System Localization Adaptation: The photovoltaic station control system (PPC) was adapted to Singapore's grid standards, achieving seamless integration with the dispatch system.

Construction of Smart Operation and Maintenance System: Remote monitoring equipment and meteorological station systems were deployed, with data directly connected to the owner's digital cloud platform. This enabled a "cloud-edge collaboration" photovoltaic O&M model, further advancing the plant's transformation towards intelligent and digital management.

The successful commissioning and stable operation of CYG SUNRI's photovoltaic monitoring system and PPC system in the high-end Singapore market demonstrate CYG SUNRI's strong capabilities in the new energy sector, which is of great significance for further exploring and solidifying the green energy market in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
