Composite Post Insulator for Substation (Solid Core & Hollow Core Types)

Available in both solid core and hollow core configurations, these composite station post insulators are designed for equipment insulation and mechanical fixing in power plants and substations.

Product Presentation

The solid core type consists of a fiber-reinforced polymer rod, metal end fittings, and a silicone rubber housing with sheds. It is ideally suited for busbars, reactors, and disconnecting switches.

 

The hollow core type comprises aluminum alloy flanges, a glass fiber-reinforced resin tube, and a silicone rubber housing with sheds. It is compatible with high-voltage equipment such as GIS switchgear, transformers, and surge arresters.

 

Both variants feature a material composition with strong hydrophobicity, ensuring low leakage current and minimal maintenance requirements. Manufactured using a proprietary HTV silicone rubber formula and a patented integral molding injection/sealing process, they comply with ANSI/IEC standards and are available for customization.
